I am trying to do what i think should be a simple task just edit the room boundary to adjust to the extents of the room but i am stumped.
The growing increase in the design of open space environments has made it necessary to use room dividers the perfect solution to create new spaces within very large rooms without resorting to a clear separation by combining design and functionality they allow to keep intact the sense of contiguity between adjacent rooms and create suggestive and elegant perceptions.
By default room separation lines are visible in plan views and 3d views.

How to change the boundary of a room in revit there are times in revit where you want to refine how the areas of your rooms are measured.
As you can see in the image below the closet walls are room bounding and prevent the closet area from being included.
When i click on the room i don t get any thing prompting me to edit the boundary.

See attached image banghead.
You don t even need to sign up.
Perhaps you have a column in the room and don t want the area removed or perhaps you have a closet you want to be included in a bedroom.
I m know that i can extract the boundary lines and move them around but i m wondering if there is a way to recreate a room from edited boundary lines or edit the existing room boundaries.
Just enjoy the course and drop me line if you found it useful.
Please any help greatly appreciated.
