My front door opens on a corner of my living room one wall is entirely windows the other wall is the only place to have a living room. When you set this up have someone come in who opens a door in a normal manner especially if carrying packages. I will probably do nothing until i give up the idea of turning the front porch into an entrance but a window partition could be a lovely solution. You walk in the door and literally fall smack dab into the living room.

Many homes whose front doors enter directly into the living room also have a roomy front porch like this one. Take 2 take the previous idea from the inside to the outside. If this porch were walled in an entry would be created protecting the interior from dirt and the elements. The front door opens almost right in the middle there is a big opening on the other side into the dining room and there are two doors opening into a sunroom on either side of the fireplace.
